JSTJR with Alyssa Jolee at SOMA San Diego

JSTJR headlines the SOMA mainstage in San Diego on Saturday, November 14, with Alyssa Jolee in support. Insomniac's Mutate brand is presenting it. The show runs from 8pm to 1am and it's 18 and over. In Insomniac's words: "San Diego, turn up the intensity with JSTJR headlining SOMA on Saturday, November 14, alongside fast-rising star of hard techno Alyssa Jolee."

This is a San Diego show, about two hours south of Los Angeles. It's a gem for LA ravers who are happy to make a weekend of it.

The lineup

JSTJR came up through bass and trap and has spent the last few years pushing into harder, faster territory. Insomniac tags this show electronic and techno. Alyssa Jolee is one of the names driving the hard techno wave in the US. She played Wasteland this year and opened for GRAVEDGR at the Hollywood Palladium in September. It's a two-name bill, so expect long sets from both.

Tickets

Insomniac's event page sends buyers to TicketWeb for the SOMA mainstage. We couldn't confirm a face value on September 24, so check the TicketWeb page for current prices and fees. SOMA shows are general admission.

The venue

SOMA is at 3350 Sports Arena Boulevard, Suite I, in San Diego's Midway District near Pechanga Arena. It has hosted punk, hip-hop and dance shows for decades, and the mainstage is big enough for a proper light show. Parking is easy by San Diego standards. Rideshare is the simplest option after a 1am finish.

If you're making a weekend of it, Deorro's Botas y Rave is in Chula Vista the same night. Back in LA, the hard techno crowd should circle Wasteland 2027. For more EDM, see the EDM category page.
