Bassrush is bringing its Level Up series to Sunset Boulevard this winter, and the first night is a stacked one for anyone who likes their low end heavy. On Friday, February 26, 2027, the Hollywood Palladium hosts Level Up with Modal Nodes as the special guest and St. Mary in support. If you are hunting for raves in Los Angeles that lean dubstep and bass rather than house, this is the one to mark early.

When: Friday, February 26, 2027, 8:00 PM to 1:45 AM Where: Hollywood Palladium, 6215 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028 Age: 18+ per the flyer Genres: Dubstep, bass

What to expect

Level Up is a Bassrush production, the Insomniac-run brand built around dubstep, bass and heavier electronic sounds. The flyer sets a storybook tone, with vines, lanterns and a frog in a wizard hat, but the night itself is about sound-system weight. Modal Nodes headlines as special guest, and St. Mary supports. The artwork also lists Liu Kang on the same night, so expect a full bill rather than a short two-act set.

The event runs two nights. Saturday, February 27 carries a different special guest, so this post covers the Friday show only. The listed window ends at 1:45 AM, which makes it a proper late one: plan your ride home before you go in.

Why the Palladium suits it

The Palladium is a big room with a high ceiling, a wide floor and a balcony for anyone who wants a view of the crowd and the visuals. Bass music sounds right in a space like this. For EDM in Los Angeles, it is one of the better mid-size rooms for a headline bass show, and its Sunset Boulevard location puts it close to Hollywood's restaurants and bars for a pre-show meal.

Practical info

Ticket pricing was not published on the listing at the time of writing, so check the official Insomniac event page for current tiers and availability. Bass shows at this venue tend to sell through in tiers, so earlier is usually cheaper. Bring a valid ID, since the event is 18+.

Parking around Sunset and Gower fills quickly on show nights. Rideshare drop-off is easiest on the side streets, and the Metro B Line at Hollywood/Vine is a short walk away if you would rather skip the car. For more nights out, browse our EDM category and the full Hollywood neighborhood guide.

If you are planning ahead and looking for things to do in Los Angeles this winter, a late February bass night at a historic Hollywood room is a solid anchor for the weekend.
