What to expect

The listing names Mika Heggemann, Davyboi and Casska and does not publish set times or a genre breakdown, so treat the lineup as the main draw. Multi-DJ bills like this usually run in a rising arc: the earliest set warms the floor, the middle slot builds the crowd, and the headliner closes. Check the venue's page closer to the date, since running order tends to be confirmed only in the final days.

Academy LA is a big Hollywood room built for dancing, with a large floor, bright visuals and a sound system aimed at the main stage. It suits the kind of weekend night people mean when they look for EDM in Los Angeles without a drive out to a warehouse or a festival ground.

Getting there

The club sits on Hollywood Boulevard, a short walk from the Hollywood and Highland area. Street parking nearby is limited on weekends, so paid lots, rideshare or the Metro B Line toward Hollywood are the easier options. Rideshare drop-off tends to be smoother a block or two away from the entrance than right at the door.

Bring a valid government-issued photo ID, because the event is strictly 21 and over. Arrive close to doors if you want a short line, and expect the room to fill through midnight. The price is not listed in our sources, so check the TicketWeb page for current tiers before you plan your night.

Make a night of it

Hollywood has plenty of late dinner spots within walking distance, which makes this a good pre-show stop. For more things happening in Hollywood, browse our Hollywood guide, and for more club nights see the EDM category. Academy LA also has its own venue page with house rules and upcoming shows.
