Monic Release Party at Academy LA in Hollywood

Monic is throwing a Los Angeles release party on Thursday, October 15, and the Lost in Dreams crew is hosting it in the Loft at Academy LA. The flyer bills it as the LA stop for Here From the Beginning, so this is a night built around new music from the artist whose name is on the marquee. Getting there

Academy LA sits at 6021 Hollywood Blvd, a short walk from the Hollywood/Vine Metro B Line station. Taking the train in is the smart move on a Thursday, since parking lots along the boulevard charge event rates once the clubs open. The last trains run late, but check Metro's schedule before you count on one after a 1 AM finish. Rideshare pickups are easier a block south of the boulevard than out front.
