Bu Tea Den is throwing an early Halloween party on Friday, October 23, and it is a good pick if you are hunting for raves in Los Angeles that lean toward the warm, underground end of the dial. The night is called Nightmare On Main Street, and the Den's pitch is simple: the room has survived two closing parties, and like a zombie movie, it keeps coming back.

When: Friday, October 23, 2026, 9 PM to late Where: Bu Tea Den, Los Angeles (address sent with your ticket) Price: $20 pre (the venue lists early bird at $15, regular at $20) Age: 21+, RSVP required

The lineup

Monoclick is the guest of honor. He co-founded the Bedroom and Fine Selection projects in Budapest and the Near Mint project in San Francisco, and he is a co-creator at RTS.FM. The venue describes his sound as underground house and broken beats that keep the floor moving without getting predictable.

He is bringing friends, plus the Den's own residents. John Doe, Isimo! and Sev are all on the bill. There is no posted set list, and the host promises surprises all night. If you like your house and techno with a bit of a community-room feel, this is the kind of night that rewards showing up early rather than just for the headliner.

What to expect

Expect a Halloween-themed room with candy, spooky snacks, tea cocktails, hot and cold tea and other drinks. The Den is built around tea culture, so the bar is a little different from the usual club setup, and that is part of the draw.

The venue is also the permanent home of Paisley ID, whose AFTMs (Automated Fortune Telling Machines) are repurposed ATMs that use numerology and chakra theory to print a personalized fortune. The Den says it is worth the visit on its own, so bring someone who has not seen it.

Getting there

This one is 21+ and RSVP is required. The exact address is not published on the event page; it is sent with your ticket. Per the venue, the space is in a warehouse building and the entrance is through the side door by the loading dock, so do not expect a marquee out front. Read the ticket email before you leave and plan your ride, since the night runs late.

If you are building a list of LA events this weekend, or just want more EDM in Los Angeles that is a step away from the big rooms, this is a strong early-Halloween option. Tickets and RSVP are on the Bu Tea Den event page. Browse more EDM events on the site for other nights around the city.
