Nightshift After Hours returns to The Lexington in downtown Los Angeles for a second night this week, this time on Tuesday, October 20. Doors and music run from 11 PM until 5 AM Wednesday morning, and the listing tags the night with tech house and minimal. If you keep a running list of raves in Los Angeles that go well past last call, this one belongs on it.

When: Tuesday, October 20, 2026, 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM Where: The Lexington, 129 E 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90013 Price: Free with RSVP before 1, otherwise $23 Tickets: Resident Advisor

What to expect

The two genre tags tell you most of what you need. Tech house leans on tight, groove-first drums and rolling basslines. Minimal strips things back further, with long builds and small details that reward a full night on the floor. Together they point to a patient, hypnotic set rather than big-room drops. A six-hour window means you can arrive late, leave early or settle in for the whole stretch.

The listing we worked from did not name a lineup or a set schedule, so check the Resident Advisor page for the latest on who is playing. We would rather say that plainly than guess at names.

Price and RSVP

The price line reads "free w/rsvp b4 1 / $23." In plain terms, RSVP through the event page before 1 AM and you get in free. After that cutoff, expect to pay $23. If you would rather skip the guesswork, RSVP before you head out. Ticket terms can change, so confirm on the event page.

Getting there

The Lexington sits on East 3rd Street, on the edge of Little Tokyo in downtown. It is an easy trip for anyone already out in DTLA, and the Metro A and E lines stop nearby at Little Tokyo/Arts District. Late-night rail service thins out, so plan your ride home before the night gets away from you. Rideshare is the safer bet after 3 AM.

A weeknight crowd is different from a Saturday one. Expect hospitality workers, night owls and regulars who come for the music and not the scene, which suits a sound this focused. For anyone searching for EDM in Los Angeles on a night when most clubs are quiet, that is the appeal. Browse more nights on our EDM page or see what else is on in downtown.
