Sunday closes out Nocturnal Wonderland 2026, and it plays differently than Saturday does. The campground has been awake since Friday, everyone has already found their people and their stage, and the crowd moves slower and friendlier. Closing day at a camping festival has a particular texture. Fewer people sprinting between stages, more people sitting down in the art installations and actually looking at them.
The venue is Glen Helen Regional Park, 2555 Glen Helen Pkwy in San Bernardino. That is about 60 to 70 miles east of LA, I-10 to the I-215, and no amount of optimism makes it a short trip. Treat it as a road trip rather than a night out and the whole thing gets easier. Gates open at 2pm and general admission runs $119.99. Bass, house, techno and trance carry the programming, same as day one, with the sets you actually came for landing after dark.
The practical stuff people get wrong on Sunday: pace your water from the first hour, not the fourth, and eat something real in the afternoon before the sun goes down. If you camped Saturday, break down what you can before the last sets so you aren't doing it by phone flashlight at 3am. If you're driving in fresh, the westbound crawl home afterward is brutal, so either plan for a very late arrival back in Los Angeles or book something in Rancho Cucamonga or Ontario and deal with it in the morning.
Sunday also tends to be the day the festival's art and side stages get their due. The smaller rooms run deeper cuts, the performers on stilts have time to actually interact with people, and the walk between stages stops feeling like a commute. If you only came for one headliner you'll probably leave having found two DJs you'd never heard of. That has been true of this festival for close to thirty years.
For anyone who'd rather stay in town, the EDM section and the Los Angeles page cover raves in LA that don't require a freeway. Nocturnal is the exception you make the drive for.
