Pier Play 2026: Two Days of House on Santa Monica Pier

Pier Play has sold out four times in a row, and this fall RASA is stretching it to two full days. On Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, the party sets up an oceanside stage on the Santa Monica Pier, and if you've been looking for LA EDM events that happen in daylight instead of a warehouse at 2 a.m., this one belongs near the top of the list.

The Lineup

The bill leans melodic and house-driven. Monolink brings his live, vocal-heavy take on melodic techno, the kind of set that works best with the sun dropping behind the water. Mind Against, the Italian duo, sit in similar territory: long builds, darker textures, very little cheese.

On the house side, Claptone shows up in the golden mask, and Kaz James adds a deeper, groovier option. MEDUZA carry the big-room singalong energy, and LP Giobbi is the piano-house wildcard who tends to get a crowd moving faster than anyone else on a lineup. Rinzen and Arodes round out the listing.

What to Expect

The listing calls it a multi-genre dance music experience with an interactive, immersive playground on the pier. Capacity is limited on purpose, which usually means shorter bar lines and room to actually dance. The stage faces the ocean, so the sunset hour is the obvious peak.

Getting There

Parking near the pier is paid and fills up fast on a Saturday. The Metro E Line ends at Downtown Santa Monica station, a short walk down Colorado Avenue to the pier entrance, and that's the easiest way in and out if you're drinking. Rideshare drop-offs on Ocean Avenue get jammed around closing, so walk a few blocks inland before you call a car.
