PROXIMITY: A Clothing Collab & Cookout

On Sunday, September 27, Casita Hollywood hosts PROXIMITY, a daytime event that folds a clothing collaboration debut, a cookout, and a DJ set into one six-hour afternoon. Doors open at 3 PM. Everything wraps at 9 PM.

Your $30 ticket covers entry, a plate from Chef Tashia (food runs from 3 to 6 PM, so show up hungry), and full access to live music. DJ Oh'La and DJ Bella Foxx share the decks throughout the afternoon. Neither is a background act: expect real programming, not dinner-party ambience.

The clothing piece is the anchor. A limited run of collaborative merchandise drops on site, available only to people in the room. No online release has been announced. If you want it, you have to be there. That kind of access-for-showing-up energy is exactly what this event seems to be going for.

Casita Hollywood sits on Highland Avenue, about a block south of Hollywood Boulevard. It's a venue that leans toward intimate community gatherings rather than large-capacity shows, which makes sense for an event called PROXIMITY. Parking along Highland can be tight on Sunday afternoons, so the Metro Red Line stop at Hollywood and Highland is a genuinely useful option. Street parking improves a few blocks east on Cahuenga or west toward La Brea.

Cocktails are available throughout the event, separate from the food window. The vibe skews social: this is designed to be a place where you talk to people, not just stand near them.

Tickets are $30 on Posh. At that price you're getting food, music, drinks access, and the merch opportunity in one package, which makes the math straightforward. The event is 21-plus unless otherwise noted, so confirm that before you bring a younger guest.
