Psychic Skin X Bug at Blipsy Bar: Free Night

Psychic Skin X Bug is a free night at Blipsy Bar on Friday, October 30, 2026. The listing carries four genre tags: house, leftfield, techno and breaks. That mix usually means a night that moves around instead of locking into one tempo, which is the appeal of a small-room bar party over a big festival floor.

When: Friday, October 30, 2026, 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM Where: Blipsy Bar, Los Angeles Price: Free Music: House, leftfield, techno, breaks

What to expect

The title pairs two names, Psychic Skin and Bug, and the listing gives no further lineup detail, so treat the billing as the whole announcement. Expect a dance-forward bar night rather than a ticketed production. Free entry at a venue this size can mean a crowd that builds as the night goes on, so arriving earlier gives you room to settle in before the floor fills.

The genre tags are the best guide to the sound. House and techno supply the steady pulse. Breaks and leftfield loosen it up with broken rhythms and odd turns. If you follow EDM in Los Angeles beyond the large venues, this is the kind of night that shows how much of the scene lives in neighborhood bars.

It also lands the night before Halloween Saturday, so some people may show up in costume. Nothing in the listing says there is a dress code or theme, so check before planning an outfit.

Practical info

The event runs until 2:00 AM, so plan your ride home ahead of time. Rideshare or a designated driver is the safer choice after a late night. The listing does not publish a street address, door policy or age limit, so confirm those details on the Resident Advisor page before you head out.

Price is listed as free. That can change if a cover is added at the door, so the event page is the place to check the latest. If you are building a list of things to do in Los Angeles around Halloween weekend, a free late-night option makes an easy fallback.
