Thanksgiving Eve at Academy LA with a Surprise Guest

The night before Thanksgiving is one of the biggest going-out nights of the year in Los Angeles, and Academy LA is claiming a slice of it. On November 25, the Hollywood club hosts Thanksgiving Eve with a special guest whose name hasn't been announced. The billing adds one more hook: it's a birthday set.

When: Wednesday, November 25, 2026, doors at 10:00 PM Where: Academy LA, 6021 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028 Ages: 21+ Tickets: via TicketWeb (price not listed on the source pages)

What to expect

The flyer plays up the mystery: a black silhouette, autumn leaves and the words "Surprise Guest." Nothing about the lineup is confirmed, so treat the headliner as a reveal. Academy LA is a Hollywood Boulevard nightclub, and this is a standard late-night format: doors at 10, a dance floor, and a set built around the guest.

The holiday timing is the real draw. Plenty of people are in town, off work the next day, and looking for one last big night before the family dinners start. If you want a loud, crowded, no-plans-needed evening, this fits. If you'd rather pick your act in advance, wait for the lineup to drop or look elsewhere. It sits comfortably among the raves in Los Angeles and club nights people line up for around the holidays, though this one is a Hollywood nightclub show rather than a warehouse party.

Getting there

Academy LA sits on Hollywood Boulevard, in the middle of the strip. Parking near the club is tight on a busy night, so rideshare is the easier call, and a 21+ door means a valid ID is non-negotiable. Arrive early if you want to avoid a line, since holiday-eve nights tend to fill fast.

Tickets are listed through TicketWeb. The sources don't publish a price, so check the listing before you plan your night, and don't assume it's free. Prices on club nights often climb as the date gets closer.

Make a night of it

Hollywood has a lot going on any night of the week, and the long weekend gives you room to stretch it. If you're building a list of things happening in Hollywood around the holiday, a dinner nearby before doors is an easy pairing. The guest and the full details are still under wraps, so watch the TicketWeb and Academy LA pages for updates as November 25 gets closer.
