Sound Connections Vol. 46: ITAI x Aviv Hadari at Zula Den

Sound Connections is The Residency's house music series, and Volume 46 is titled "Roots." ITAI and Aviv Hadari share the bill at Zula Den on Thursday, October 22. It's a weeknight show with an early 8:00 PM start, which makes it an easy add to the list of things to do in Los Angeles this week if you'd rather be home at a reasonable hour.

When: Thursday, October 22, 2026, 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM Where: Zula Den, 4011 West Jefferson Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90016 Price: $33.77-44.43 on Eventbrite Presented by: ITAI & Friends

What to expect

The flyer puts the two artists side by side, with a pair of swans making a heart between them, and the billing is a two-person pairing rather than a long lineup. That usually means a night built around one extended conversation between selectors instead of a rotation of openers. 19hz tags the night as house, so expect that sound from start to finish rather than a genre-hopping bill.

The 8:00 PM start and 11:00 PM end time are a different rhythm from the usual after-midnight club night. This one is for people who want a full evening of music and still need to work Friday. If you're looking for raves in Los Angeles that run until sunrise, this isn't that. It's a focused, shorter set of house.

Sound Connections has reached its 46th volume, so the series has been running a while and the promoter knows how to pace a night. We don't have a set order or a confirmed split between the two artists, so check the Eventbrite page for any updates before you go.

Tickets and getting there

Eventbrite lists tickets at $33.77 to $44.43, depending on the tier. That includes the platform's fees, so the number you see at checkout should match. Buy ahead, since smaller venue shows can sell through before the week of. For more EDM in Los Angeles this month, browse the EDM category.

Zula Den is on West Jefferson Boulevard in the 90016 area. Street parking nearby varies by time of night, so leave extra minutes for it, or take a rideshare if you plan to drink. The venue and organizer haven't published door details beyond the 8:00 PM listing, so arrive a little early to get in and settle before the music starts.
