Unreal is a one-day hard dance and techno gathering in the middle of downtown, set for Saturday, February 6, 2027 at Grand Park. Insomniac lists it as a 21+ event, and the flyer carries the Mutate and Gloria Molina Grand Park marks next to the Insomniac eye. If you keep a running EDM calendar for Los Angeles, this is one to mark early.

When: Saturday, February 6, 2027, 5 PM to 11 PM Where: Grand Park, 200 N Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012 Age: 21+ Tickets: presale sign-up on the Insomniac event page

The lineup

The poster lists the bill in alphabetical order: Cara Elizabeth b2b DJ Cringey, Johannes Schuster, Junkie Kid, Kayzo and KUKO. That is a wide spread of the harder end of electronic music. Insomniac tags the night with hard techno, hardgroove, techno, hardstyle, hard dance, house and trance, so expect a day that moves between driving four-on-the-floor kicks, faster hard dance and some melodic lift.

Kayzo and Junkie Kid sit on the heavier, more aggressive side, while Johannes Schuster and KUKO fit the techno and hardgroove tags. The Cara Elizabeth and DJ Cringey back-to-back is the one pairing the flyer calls out directly. The source does not list set times, so check the event page closer to the date for a schedule.

What to expect

Raves in Los Angeles usually happen after dark in warehouses or clubs. A 5 PM start in a downtown park is a different kind of night: daylight at the opening, then the sun going down while the music keeps pushing. Grand Park is an open civic space with the city hall and the Music Center around it, so the setting adds some skyline to the usual stage and sound system.

Insomniac has not posted a ticket price on the event page. At the moment the page offers a presale sign-up, so register there to hear when tickets go on sale. Treat anything else you read about prices as unconfirmed until that page says so.

Getting there

Grand Park runs along Grand Avenue near the Civic Center, so Metro is the easiest way in. The B and D lines stop at Civic Center/Grand Park, a short walk from the park. Rideshare drop-offs around Grand Avenue and 1st Street tend to back up when a crowd lets out, so plan a walk of a few blocks to get picked up. The source gives no parking details for this event, so look at the official page before you drive.

Bring a valid ID, since the event is 21+. For a wider look at what is on this season, the EDM page lists the rest of the upcoming electronic shows, and the downtown Los Angeles page collects other things happening in Los Angeles near the Civic Center. You can also see Grand Park's venue page for the park's other shows.
