Wasteland 2027: Hard Dance and Techno in San Bernardino

Wasteland is Insomniac's festival for the hard end of dance music: hardstyle, hard techno, hardcore and everything between. The 2027 edition is set for Friday, September 3 and Saturday, September 4 at NOS Events Center in San Bernardino. It's 18 and over. The festival's hours page still lists event times as TBA. Front Gate shows a 6pm start, but that could change, so check before you go.

NOS Events Center is at 689 South E Street in San Bernardino, well east of LA. It's worth the drive if hard dance is your thing, because nothing else on the SoCal calendar goes this hard.

Lineup

The 2027 lineup hasn't been announced yet. The 2026 lineup that's still on the site gives an idea of the range: Angerfist, Sub Zero Project, D-Sturb, Kobosil, Dr. Donk, Kayzo, Darren Styles, DJ Isaac, Alyssa Jolee, Restricted, Fatima Hajji, Lil Texas B2B Yosuf and Somewhen. In 2026, The Shelter had the techno acts like Kobosil and Somewhen, and The Scrap Yard had the hardstyle and hardcore acts like Angerfist and Sub Zero Project. The Hangar was the third stage.

Tickets

Passes are on Front Gate and the price includes taxes and fees. Before you go

The festival runs rain or shine. Entry includes a TSA-style search, and you'll need a physical photo ID, since digital IDs aren't accepted. There's no re-entry and no camping.

Hard techno fans can get a preview before then: JSTJR and Alyssa Jolee play SOMA in November. The same grounds host Escape Halloween and Beyond Wonderland SoCal 2027. For more, see the EDM category page.
