WHYNOTUS lands at Academy LA on Saturday, December 19, with Malone Morez presenting a lineup built around Ferra Black, Sabrosura Boyz and special guest Kimonos. It is the kind of night that earns a spot among the better raves in Los Angeles this winter, and it comes just in time for the holiday stretch when everyone wants one big night out.
When: Saturday, December 19, 2026, doors at 10:00 PM Where: Academy LA, 6021 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028 Ages: 21+ Tickets: Through the Academy LA event page
What to expect
The flyer is clear about the structure: Malone Morez leads the bill, Ferra Black and Sabrosura Boyz share the main billing, and Kimonos closes out the poster as the special guest. The listing runs until 2:00 AM, so plan on a full night of dance music rather than a quick set and out the door.
Academy LA is a Hollywood nightclub that books a steady run of dance-music parties through the year. If you follow EDM in Los Angeles, the room is a regular stop, and WHYNOTUS slots in cleanly beside the other club nights that run through the venue's calendar.
Getting there and practical info
The venue sits on Hollywood Boulevard, so rideshare is the easy play on a Saturday. Parking nearby is a mix of pricey lots and metered street spots that fill up early, and the Hollywood/Vine Metro station is within walking distance if you would rather skip the car. Bring a valid government ID, since entry is strictly 21 and over.
Ticket pricing was not listed on the source page when this post was written, so check the official Academy LA event page before you go. The club is explicit that only tickets bought through its own page are valid, and that third-party resale listings will not get you through the door. Buying from the official link is the safest way to avoid a bad surprise at the door.
Make a night of it
Doors at 10 PM means the room warms up gradually, so arriving a little after opening gives you time to settle in before the main acts. If you want to turn the evening into a Hollywood outing, there are plenty of places to eat within a few blocks, and it is a good excuse to browse other things happening in Hollywood that weekend. For more nights like this one, the EDM category keeps a running list, and the Hollywood neighborhood page collects what else is going on nearby.
