CCBA Summit Beer Festival 2026 in Torrance

The Summit Beer Festival is the California Craft Brewers Association's big fall pour, and this year it lands on an airfield. On Saturday, November 7, more than 80 California breweries set up at Torrance Municipal Airport, better known as Zamperini Field, for an afternoon of unlimited tastings parked next to historic aircraft. If you keep a running list of things to do in Los Angeles that don't feel like every other weekend, a beer fest on an active South Bay airport belongs on it.

The CCBA is co-hosting with the Western Museum of Flight, which calls Zamperini Field home. That pairing gives the day its hook. You're sampling beer from across the Golden State a few steps from planes that tell the story of Southern California's aviation history.

What's Pouring

The pitch is simple: bring your ticket and a sample glass, then wander. The organizers describe the lineup as some of the state's most awarded craft breweries, and "unlimited tastings" means you aren't counting tokens at every booth. The better move is to slow down anyway. The festival is billed as a chance to meet the brewers behind the craft, so ask the person pouring what went into the glass.

There's live music through the afternoon and local food for purchase. Nonalcoholic drinks and water are available inside too, which matters on a sunny airfield with very little shade.

Know Before You Go

This is a strict 21+ event. Everyone shows a valid photo ID with a date of birth at the gate, no exceptions, and the organizers won't refund tickets bought for someone underage. Leave strollers, pets and outside drinks at home: service animals are the only animals allowed, and no outside liquids or containers get through, not even a water bottle for the designated driver.

Doors open at 11:45 AM, tastings run from noon to 5 PM, and all sales are final. Sunscreen is the one extra thing the organizers suggest you bring.

Tickets run $23.11 to $103.07 on Eventbrite, depending on tier. Zamperini Field sits at 3301 Airport Drive in Torrance. Parking at the airport is paid, so budget for it, or better yet, plan on a rideshare home after five hours of sampling. If you're pulling together LA events this weekend for a group outing in early November, sort out tickets and a ride before the day.
