On Saturday, October 10, 2026, a four-block stretch of Washington Blvd in Culver City shuts to cars and opens to people. The Culver City Art Walk and Roll Festival, which the organizers bill as the 8th Annual Culver City Arts Festival, turns the arts district into a one-day walking gallery with live music, beer and wine gardens, food trucks and a kids zone. It runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and costs nothing to attend.

If you are putting together a list of things to do in Los Angeles this month, this is an easy one to slot in. Nobody needs a ticket, and you can drop in for an hour or stay all afternoon.

When: Saturday, October 10, 2026, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Where: Washington Blvd, Culver City, CA (four blocks closed to traffic) Price: Free

What to expect

The core of the day is the art. The street is lined with working artists, and the neighborhood's galleries open their doors for the occasion, so you can drift between booths on the pavement and exhibitions indoors without ever crossing a traffic light. Because the street is closed, the pace is slow. People stop, talk to the makers, and carry things home.

Music fills the gaps. The festival's own lineup lists acts such as Cheek to Cheek, the Fred Sokolow Jazz Duo and Urth Rhythms, alongside dance companies, a youth rock school and brass bands. Expect a mix of jazz, rock, Latin and roots sounds rather than a single genre. Set times are posted by the organizers, so check the festival site before you go if you want to catch a particular act.

Food and drink are part of the plan too. There are food trucks, plus wine and beer gardens for adults. Families get their own corner: a kids zone with activities keeps younger visitors busy while parents browse.

Getting there

The festival sits in the Culver City Arts District along Washington Blvd. Street closures mean driving close is slow, so consider parking a few blocks away or arriving by Metro E Line and walking the rest. Wear comfortable shoes, bring sunscreen for a daytime outdoor event, and carry some cash in case a vendor prefers it.

The listing on the festival's official site and the October roundup at We Like LA both confirm the date and hours. The festival takes place on a public street, so the address above is where the closure happens.

Make a day of it

Culver City is a good place to stretch an outing. The arts district has its own cafes and independent shops, and the festival is a natural kickoff for a longer afternoon. Among the LA events this weekend, it is one of the few that pairs gallery culture with a free, family-friendly street party.
