L.A. Comic Con takes over the Los Angeles Convention Center from Friday, October 30 through Sunday, November 1, 2026. Halloween falls on the Saturday this year, so expect even more costumes than usual, and that's saying a lot for a show where cosplay is half the point. It's one of the biggest things happening in Los Angeles that weekend.
Who's on the guest list
The listing names a heavy celebrity lineup. Bob Odenkirk is billed for what it calls his first-ever convention appearance. Nicolas Cage, Hayden Christensen, Giancarlo Esposito and Christopher Lloyd are on the bill too, along with the cast of Outlander.
Not everyone signs every day. The convention's own guest page lists Odenkirk and Lloyd for Saturday only, so check it before you pick a single-day ticket around one person.
Anime fans get a Dragon Ball Z voice reunion with Sean Schemmel, Christopher Sabat and Justin Cook. Cast members from Frieren: Beyond Journey's End are coming as well.
What's on the show floor
More than 800 exhibitors and vendors spread across three exhibit halls. Artist Alley is where you'll find comic artists and writers selling original pages and prints. There are gaming tournaments and cosplay contests, plus over 200 panels across the weekend. Parents should know about the indoor trick-or-treating for kids on Saturday. With Halloween on the same day, that's an easy win if your kids are already in costume.
The organizers are billing 2026 as their 15th year of shows in Los Angeles.
Tickets and prices
Read this part before you pay. The AllEvents listing we found is posted by an organizer called Event Management, not by the convention itself. It shows General Admission at 80 and a three-day VIP pass at 390, and both prices are in Canadian dollars. The convention also sells single-day, weekend and VIP passes directly through its official site. Compare the two before you check out.
The listing gives a 3:00 PM start on Friday. It doesn't show Saturday or Sunday hours, so confirm the full schedule with the convention before you plan your day.
Getting there
The convention center sits at 1201 South Figueroa Street, at the corner of Pico, right next to L.A. Live. Metro's A and E lines stop at Pico station, a short walk from the entrance. On a packed Saturday that beats circling for parking. If you drive, the convention's site has a parking page, and garages around L.A. Live fill early on big weekends.
A few practical notes:
- Wear shoes you can walk in all day. Three halls add up.
- Carry some cash for smaller Artist Alley tables.
- Bring a phone charger for digital tickets and photos.
- If you're coming in costume, read the prop rules before you build anything big.
If you're lining up things to do in Los Angeles over Halloween weekend, this one is worth planning around early. Browse more festivals or see what else is on in Downtown LA.
