To Palmdale & Beyond-TOY STORY is on Nov 28, 2026. Tickets: Free.

Palmdale is getting a Toy Story takeover the Saturday after Thanksgiving. "To Palmdale & Beyond" is a family festival built around the movies, with costumed Buzz and Woody, a crowd of vendors and enough bounce houses to wear out the kids before dinner. It is one of the things happening in Los Angeles County that sits well outside the usual city-center circuit, up in the Antelope Valley.

When: Saturday, November 28, 2026 (time to confirm, see below) Where: 41120 27th Street West, Palmdale, CA 93551 Price: Free on Eventbrite

What to expect

The organizers promote more than 35 vendors, so plan on browsing as much as eating. The flyer lists food and drink vendors with a dining area, flash tattoos, face painting and a meet and greet with Buzz and Woody. There is also music and dancing, plus bounce houses for younger kids. The flyer calls the whole thing family friendly, and the characters on it (Woody, Jessie, Rex, Bullseye, the little green aliens) make the target audience clear.

Flash tattoos mean the vendor mix is a bit broader than a typical kids' event, so adults who come along have something to look at too. If you collect Toy Story merchandise or like handmade goods, the vendor rows are probably the main draw.

Times and the venue

The sources disagree on hours. The flyer says 4 to 9 PM. The Eventbrite listing's own data says 1 to 6 PM. Until the organizer clears it up, treat the start time as unconfirmed and check the Eventbrite page before you leave home. The listing does not name a venue, only the street address above, so use it as your destination in a maps app. We have no parking details from the organizer, so give yourself a little extra time to find a spot.

Planning your day

Eventbrite shows the event as free, though vendors will charge for food, drinks, tattoos and anything you buy. Bring cash or a card for those. Palmdale is a drive from most of Los Angeles, so many families will want to pair it with Thanksgiving weekend errands or visits in the Antelope Valley.

This is a small community festival, not a studio production, so expect a local-vendor feel. If you are scanning upcoming events in Los Angeles County for something kid friendly after the holiday, this one is worth a look. Register on the Eventbrite page linked above to get the latest updates.
