Barbecue in Beverly Hills sounds like a contradiction until you see the guest list of pitmasters. On Sunday, October 18, The Maybourne Beverly Hills teams up with Wolfgang Puck's Spago Beverly Hills and the City of Beverly Hills for the second annual Beverly Hills Autumn BBQ, an evening of smoke, cocktails and charity set in Beverly Cañon Gardens. If you keep a running list of LA food festivals worth dressing up for, this one belongs on it.
What to expect
The garden is a 33,000-square-foot space with water features and landscaped paths, and the format is built for wandering. Chef stations are spread throughout, so the move is to circle the grounds, grab a plate, and keep going. Cocktail bars run by bartenders from Florería Atlántico, Dante Beverly Hills and Employees Only NYC sit between the food stations.
The culinary lineup mixes local names with out-of-towners:
- Wolfgang Puck and Byron Lazaroff-Puck of Spago Beverly Hills
- Damon Gordon of The Maybourne Beverly Hills
- Alisa Vannah of Chi Spacca and Burt Bakman of Trudy's Underground BBQ
- Jorge "Joy" Alvarez and Victor Delgado of Tacos 1986
- Frank Ostini of Hitching Post, Daisy Ryan of Bell's and Nicholas Priedite of Priedite Barbecue from the Central Coast
- Eric Werner of Hartwood in Tulum, Mexico
Beyond the plates, there is live music, a live art installation by Marco Gallotta, curated wine and spirits tastings, and a silent auction. All auction proceeds go to No Kid Hungry.
The details
When: Sunday, October 18, 2026, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Where: The Maybourne Beverly Hills, 225 N Canon Dr., Beverly Hills Tickets: $350 per person

Planning your night
Beverly Hills is a short hop from most of the Westside, and Canon Drive is walkable from the shopping district. Parking in the area fills up on weekend evenings, so a rideshare or the hotel's own arrangements will save you circling the block. Check the official event page before you go for the latest on ticket availability and entry details.
