Eataly Los Angeles is staying open late on Friday, October 2, and letting a ticketed crowd eat and drink their way through its third floor. Notte Italiana: Autumn in Eataly is an after-hours, all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink party built around what Italians cook when the weather turns. If you're scrolling for LA events this weekend and want something that isn't another rooftop bar, this is a good one to put on the list.

What's on the plates (and in the glasses)

Eataly says there will be more than 20 stations of chef-curated Italian bites spread across the marketplace and its restaurants on Level 3. The menu leans into fall, so think comfort food rather than summer crudo. Wine is Italian, cocktails are included, and none of it is metered. Your ticket covers it all, so there's no tab to settle at the end of the night.

Between stations there are chef-led demonstrations and food and beverage demos, plus live music and other entertainment moving through the space. It's a walk-around format. You're not sitting down to a coursed dinner, you're grazing a counter at a time and doubling back to whatever you liked best.

Know before you go

This is a standing event. Eataly is upfront that seating isn't guaranteed, so wear shoes you can stand in for a few hours. The party runs from 9 PM until just before midnight according to the ticket page.

Everyone needs a valid government-issued ID at check-in showing they're 21 or older to get into the wine and cocktail tastings. Bring your ticket on your phone or printed. Tickets are limited, and the organizer lists a no-refund policy, so be sure about the date before you buy.

Tickets and getting there

Tickets run $130.60 to $464.97 on Eventbrite, depending on the tier you pick. That price covers the food and drinks, which is the whole point of the evening.

Eataly sits inside Westfield Century City at 10250 Santa Monica Boulevard. The mall garage is the easy parking option, and rideshare drop-off along Santa Monica Boulevard works well if you're planning to take full advantage of the open bar. Honestly, you should plan on rideshare.
