Organizer
Pizzeria Sei

Pizzeria Sei is turning its popular pizza omakase into a series, and the first guest is a New York name. On Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18, Chef William Joo welcomes Ceres Pizza, run by Jake Serebnick and Julian Geldmacher, for a shared tasting menu built entirely around pizza. If you are putting together things to do in Los Angeles this month, this one is for anyone who takes a slice seriously.

When: Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18, 2026, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Where: Pizzeria Sei, 8781 W. Pico Blvd., Los Angeles 90035 Price: $150 per person

What the evening looks like

Omakase usually means leaving the menu to the chef. Pizzeria Sei applies that idea to dough, sauce and fire. For this collaboration, the $150 ticket covers a starter, five to six pizza slices and a dessert. Joo's kitchen and the visiting Ceres team share the line, so expect the Pizzeria Sei style and the Ceres style to show up side by side rather than one replacing the other.

Ceres comes from New York, where the shop works out of a small space on Mott Street. Seeing both crews cooking together is the draw here, and the cover art for the series hints at exactly that: a Pizzeria Sei chef working dough on one side, a Ceres crew at the oven on the other.

Joo has said this is the first of several collaborations, with friends from around the world to follow. Vol. 1 sets the tone, so it is worth catching if you want to say you were there at the start.

Reservations and practical info

Reservations opened through DoorDash Reservations. Dash Pass members got first access on Thursday, October 1, and everyone else could book starting Friday, October 2. Because seating is limited, check the booking page for what is left before you plan the night around it. The official listing is the best place to confirm times and availability.

Pizzeria Sei sits on Pico Boulevard on the Westside, so plan for street parking and a little extra time on a weekend evening. Arrive close to your seating time, since a multi-course pizza tasting runs better when the whole table is there from the first slice.

Why it fits the weekend

Pizza tasting menus are rare, and a New York guest crew makes this a one-off. It is an easy pick among LA events this weekend if you want a dinner that feels like an occasion without a white-tablecloth price.
