Blade Runner 2099 is the next chapter in Ridley Scott's neon-soaked future Los Angeles, and 1iota is taking free ticket requests for two sessions on Thursday, November 12, 2026. If you keep a running list of things to do in Los Angeles that cost nothing and come with a story, this one belongs on it.

When: Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM Where: Los Angeles, CA (venue not yet announced) Price: Free, requested through 1iota Age: 18 and up

What the series is about

The story picks up fifty years after Blade Runner 2049. Los Angeles has been reborn, though not by humanity. Cora, played by Hunter Schafer, is a fugitive making a last bid to stop running, and she does it by taking on one more identity: a Blade Runner. Her partner is Olwen, a replicant with only days left to live, played by Michelle Yeoh.

The cast runs deep. Dimitri Abold and Lewis Gribben are series regulars, and Katelyn Rose Downey, Daniel Rigby, Johnny Harris, Amy Lennox, Sheila Atim, Matthew Needham, Tom Burke and Maurizio Lombardi appear as recurring guest stars. Silka Luisa is showrunner, creator and executive producer, with Ridley Scott among the executive producers. Jonathan van Tulleken directed the first two episodes of the limited series.

All eight episodes premiere on November 25, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video. That puts these audience sessions about two weeks before the public gets to watch.

How to get in

Tickets are free, but they are a request, not a reservation. You ask through 1iota, the official audience service listed for this event, and the page shows two time slots on November 12. The listing labels them as taping dates. The source does not say exactly what will happen in the room, so check your confirmation for the format and the address before you plan your evening.

Audience services routinely overbook, so a ticket usually buys priority in line rather than a guaranteed seat. Plan to arrive early, bring government ID since the listing is 18+, and expect a standard check-in. The location is only listed as Los Angeles, so wait for the confirmation details before sorting out parking or transit.

Making a night of it

Free events in LA fill up fast, and a spot at a Blade Runner night will go quickly. If you are scanning for LA events this weekend or the week ahead, keep an eye on the live audience listings for more free tapings and screenings, and rewatch Blade Runner 2049 beforehand so the references land.
