Wheel of Fortune Free Studio Taping at Sony Pictures

If you have ever yelled an answer at the television during Wheel of Fortune, this is the chance to do it from the studio audience instead of the couch. On Camera Audiences, the official ticketing partner for the show, is taking requests for seats at upcoming tapings on Stage 11 at Sony Pictures Studios, and it is one of the more reliably fun things to do in Los Angeles for fans of classic game shows.

What to expect

Wheel of Fortune has taped at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City for decades, and the show still records multiple episodes in a single day in front of a live crowd. Contestants spin the famous wheel and try to solve word puzzles for a shot at serious prize money, while the studio audience reacts in real time, something a broadcast simply cannot replicate. Seeing it in person is a good reminder of why live audience tapings remain one of the more underrated things happening in Los Angeles for visitors and longtime Angelenos alike.

Tickets are requested through On Camera Audiences' official request page, not purchased, and the service occasionally offers upgraded VIP seating for members of its Wheel Watchers Club. As with any free taping, the show overbooks seats to guarantee a full house: a confirmed request gives priority standing in line, not a guaranteed seat, so arriving early matters. Studio policies, age requirements, and check-in procedures are listed on the official request page and should be reviewed before the taping date.
