Chulas All Girl Party at Melrose House

Chulas All Girl Party is a recurring event series in LA focused on queer Latina community nights. The October 9 edition takes over Melrose House, a venue and event space on Melrose Avenue in East Hollywood that has a private-house feel.

Chulas events typically combine DJ sets with a crowd that knows each other across a network of regular attendees. The "all girl" framing is queer-inclusive: women, femmes, non-binary people, and the people who love them. It's the kind of night where the dance floor is full from the first set because nobody's waiting around.

Melrose House

4216 Melrose Ave is in East Hollywood, a few blocks east of the Silver Lake boundary. The venue is a converted residential space, which means close quarters and a house-party atmosphere at a slightly larger scale. Parking is street-only; the neighborhood is dense, so arrive early or plan on a short walk from a rideshare drop.

Tickets and Timing

Entry is free, but Chulas nights run on RSVP through Posh rather than door-only admission, so registering ahead is how you guarantee a spot when the room fills. Doors are at 9:00 PM and the night runs late. The listing carries through to the early hours of October 10. Free entry at a venue this size means capacity is the real constraint, not price: the earlier sets are the easiest time to get in and find the people you came with before the floor is shoulder to shoulder.

Getting There
