A running festival from one of Korea's best-loved variety shows is landing on the San Pedro waterfront. The Infinite Challenge RUN is the first time the event has gone global after successful events in Korea, Seoul and Busan, and Los Angeles gets it on Saturday, October 17, 2026. If you are scanning for things to do in Los Angeles this month, this one pairs a race course with a full day of waterfront entertainment.

When: Saturday, October 17, 2026, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Where: West Harbor, San Pedro Race options: 5K Fun Run or 10K Race Info: Discover Los Angeles event page

What to expect

Participants choose between a relaxed 5K fun run and a more competitive 10K race, both routed along the San Pedro waterfront. The festival is centered on West Harbor, and organizers describe interactive activities along the course, so expect the route to feel more like a party than a timed sprint if you pick the fun run.

The draw for many fans is the finish. After the race, a concert brings members of Infinite Challenge together with K-pop artists on stage. The official poster shows a water-gun theme, with a blue wave border and a nautical look, and promises to "keep the fun going all day" after the finish line.

The date is also tied to two anniversaries. Organizers frame the day as a celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States and the 50th anniversary of the Korean Bell of Friendship, which sits in San Pedro's Angels Gate Park.

Who it suits

Fans of the show will get the most out of it, but you do not need to know the series to enjoy a harbor-side run. Casual walkers and runners can take the 5K, while regular racers have the 10K. Friends and families can make a day of it, since the concert and activities run well beyond the race itself.

Practical info

Ticket and registration pricing was not listed on the source page we checked, so confirm entry fees, bib pickup and start waves on the official event page before you go. The event page and the festival's Instagram, @mudorun_la, are the places to watch for updates.

West Harbor is the waterfront district on South Harbor Boulevard in San Pedro, a short drive from the Port of Los Angeles. Parking and traffic near the harbor can get tight on a race morning, so leave early. Wear shoes you have already broken in, bring sun protection for the open waterfront, and plan to hydrate.
