Angel City FC vs. Seattle Reign FC at BMO Stadium

Angel City FC hosts Seattle Reign FC on September 16 at BMO Stadium, a matchup between two Pacific Northwest and SoCal rivals in the NWSL's western conference. The Reign have been a perennial playoff contender; Angel City, in its fourth NWSL season, is building toward the same.

About Angel City FC

Angel City launched in 2022 as a celebrity-ownership, community-ownership hybrid that drew attention nationally for its model: a portion of every ticket sold funds a community impact fund. On the field, the club has been competitive but inconsistent. Home games at BMO carry real energy, and the supporters group section behind the south goal is among the louder atmospheres in the league.

BMO Stadium

BMO Stadium is in South Los Angeles, at the corner of Figueroa and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. It seats just under 23,000 for soccer configuration. The stadium is compact for a professional venue, which makes it loud. Parking lots are available around the stadium but fill fast; the Expo Line's Expo/Vermont station is about a mile walk, or rideshare drops are common along Figueroa.

Getting There

Address: 3939 S. Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA. The Metro E Line (Expo) and A Line (Blue) both stop within reasonable distance. Rideshare drop-off is on the Figueroa side. Arrive at least 30 minutes before kickoff for parking.
