LA Kings vs. Boston Bruins at Crypto.com

The LA Kings bring a big one home this October. Boston comes to town when the Kings host the Bruins at Crypto.com Arena on Saturday, October 17, with puck drop at 6:00 PM.

If you're looking for LA sports events that deliver on the atmosphere, a Kings home game against Boston is hard to top. The Bruins are one of the most decorated franchises in NHL history, which means this isn't a mid-week tune-up against a rebuilding club. It's a genuine measuring-stick matchup early in the regular season, and Kings fans tend to show up loud for games like this.

Crypto.com Arena sits right in the heart of downtown, and the building has its own energy on hockey nights. The lighting drops, the music cuts out, and the ice becomes the whole room. If you've never seen an NHL game live, a Kings-Bruins matchup is the kind of thing that converts casual fans into regulars. The pace is faster than TV makes it look, the hits carry, and the crowd gets into it from the first shift.

Both franchises have won the Stanley Cup multiple times, and even if the standings don't have much on the line in October, the players know what kind of teams they're representing. Expect a physical, competitive game.

Getting There

Crypto.com Arena is at 1111 S. Figueroa St. in downtown Los Angeles, which makes it one of the most transit-accessible sporting venues in the city. The Metro Blue Line (A Line) and the Metro Red/Purple Lines stop at 7th Street/Metro Center, a short walk from the arena. Driving? Several parking structures surround the venue, but they fill fast on game nights. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before puck drop if you're parking nearby.

Grab tickets on Ticketmaster and check the seating chart before you buy. Lower bowl seats along the glass put you right in the action; upper sections are a solid value and still offer a clear view of the whole ice surface.
