Angel Stadium
Also known as Anaheim Stadium, Edison International Field

Anaheim, CA 92806
Angel Stadium sits in a sea of parking off the 57 freeway in Anaheim, with the Big A sign standing out in the lot like a 1960s postcard. It opened in 1966 as Anaheim Stadium, and the Angels have played every home game here since. Out front, two oversized red Angels caps frame the Home Plate Gate, which is where most people meet up before going in.
Baseball owns the calendar from spring into fall, so concerts land in the gaps. When a stadium tour does book it, the stage usually goes up in the outfield and the field becomes the floor. Supercross and Monster Jam take over the dirt in the off months, so check the event page before you assume a show is a concert setup.
Driving is the default here. The lot has three ways in, from Douglass Road, State College Boulevard and Orangewood Avenue, and concert parking is priced per event rather than at the ballgame rate. Everything at the stadium and in the lot is cashless, so bring a card. Tailgating is only allowed in the Big A Lot, and drinking in the lot is against city code. ARTIC, Anaheim's train and bus station, is a short walk from the lot if you'd rather take Metrolink or Amtrak in.
Expect a metal detector at the gate and a bag search. Small purses and clear bags pass, backpacks don't, and there's nowhere outside to stash what gets turned away, so it goes back to your car. Hard-sided coolers and aerosol sunscreen are also on the banned list.
