B-Side at Blue Note Los Angeles

B-Side is the second stage inside Blue Note Los Angeles, the jazz club at 6372 W Sunset Blvd, where Sunset meets Ivar in Hollywood. The Cinerama Dome is next door. On the club's calendar every show is tagged either "Blue Note Los Angeles" or "B-Side at Blue Note Los Angeles", and the B-Side dates run late. The listings start at 10 PM, after the main room has played its 7 PM and 9:30 PM sets, and a recent one put doors at 9 PM.

The house terms are the same ones the main room uses. Expect a $20 minimum per person on food or drink, with the full bar and dinner menu open. Seating is first come, first served, and the club won't promise that a group arriving in pieces lands at one table, so walk in together. B-Side listings have been marked all ages welcome, while bar seating anywhere in the building is 21+ with ID, so read the age line on your show. All sales are final, with no refunds or exchanges unless a date is postponed or cancelled. Buy only from the club's own site or TicketWeb, because management may ask to see the card you paid with.

There's no formal dress code, and the club suggests smart casual. Photos without flash are normally fine, but some artists ban them, and the rule is announced before each set. Cards accepted are American Express, Visa and Mastercard, plus Apple Pay at the bar and tables.

Parking is next door at the Cinerama Dome garage, 1400 Ivar Ave. You can add a $15 parking pass to your TicketWeb order and have it validated inside, or pay when you arrive. The Hollywood/Vine Metro B Line station is about a quarter mile north, a five-minute walk up Vine or Ivar.
