Camille's at The Bellwether

Music venue · Downtown LA

333 S Boylston St
Los Angeles, CA 90017

Camille's is a small, intimate event room inside The Bellwether at 333 S Boylston Street in downtown LA. Named after Prince's alter ego and unreleased 1986 album, the space sits hidden inside the labyrinth of rooms that make up the building which once housed Prince's nightclub, the Glam Slam. You enter through a door marked C at the corner of Boylston and 4th, or through the patio hallway from inside The Bellwether after another show.

The room itself carries gold accents, a retro stripe mural, and a 60-foot bar with a marble top running along the west end wall. A moveable stage with full sound and lighting capability makes it flexible for DJ sets, live performances, and private events. It also has a green room for VIPs or performers and a catering prep area. The vibe is disco-meets-warehouse, which the venue uses on both its website and its flyers.

Most public shows at Camille's are 21+ unless the listing says otherwise. The Bellwether holds 1,500 in its main ballroom, and Camille's sits well under that as one room off the patio, though the venue does not publish a separate capacity for it.

Camille's carries late-night afters and DJ sets that run alongside the bigger concerts in the main room. It also books private parties, corporate events and film shoots. There is no published bag policy, dress code or set of hours beyond the event calendar, so read the listing for the night you want.
