Casita Hollywood

Casita Hollywood is a private event venue tucked in the blocks just north of Hollywood Boulevard, between De Longpre and Fountain, and its own site sells it as an indoor-outdoor sanctuary: vaulted ceilings over a light-filled hall, a vine-covered courtyard with an outdoor fireplace, a full commercial kitchen and a cocktail bar. It seats 200 or more, which puts it in the sweet spot for a show too big for a bar and too small for a theater.

The house business is weddings, corporate gatherings and private parties, and that's what the site books directly. But the room takes on a second life at night: promoters have been putting club nights and live shows in it, from disco and house parties to band-adjacent DJ sets, with the patio doubling as an outdoor room between sets. Since every night is promoter-run, the age policy, dress code and ticketing are set by the event, not the venue, so read your event listing before you go.

The venue lists valet and on-site parking among its amenities, which is a real advantage in this part of Hollywood; arrive with that in mind if you're driving. The courtyard is the place people end up smoking or talking, so if you want the front of the set, stay in the hall. The venue doesn't publish a capacity ceiling or a bag policy, and it has no public calendar of its own, so check the promoter's listing for the night you want.
