City Market is the old Los Angeles produce market, founded in 1909 as the city's central produce distribution point, and the company behind it now owns 17 buildings across more than 12 acres of the Fashion District. Produce distribution ended in 2009. What replaced part of it is City Market South, an adaptive reuse project with restaurants, design offices, fashion showrooms and event space, and that is the piece of the property you walk into for a show.

The address on the listings is 1057 South San Pedro Street, the market's own office address, at the southern edge of the Fashion District. The techno nights make use of the plain industrial rooms in the complex rather than dressing them up, which is most of the appeal.

Factory 93 and Insomniac book the space for their downtown shows. I Hate Models plays on November 7, 2026 and Eli Brown on November 14, both with 5 PM doors and an 11 PM finish. Tickets go through Front Gate or an Insomniac presale.

The market's website is a real estate site, not a venue site. It lists no capacity, age rule, bag policy or parking guidance, so read the ticket page for the night you are going. The nearest rail is the Metro A and E lines at Pico and 7th Street/Metro Center, both a walk from the door rather than a stop outside it.
