The Fonda is a music hall at 6126 Hollywood Blvd, with a black front and a marquee over the Walk of Fame. Goldenvoice owns and runs it, and the venue's website has a page just for 100th anniversary shows. Some people still call it the Henry Fonda Theater.

Most nights are general admission, for bands and DJ sets alike. The main floor is standing room only unless a show says otherwise, so a DJ night here means standing on the floor facing the stage. The balcony above mixes seats and standing room, with the seats first come, first served and the stairs the only way up. It's where you go for a break. A few shows sell reserved balcony seats, and the ticket will say so. A general admission balcony ticket doesn't promise a seat.

Pack light. Bags can't be bigger than 14 by 14 inches, and the banned list reads like the contents of a raver's backpack: water bottles, hydration packs, glow sticks, masks, balloons, hula hoops and recording gear. Gum, outside food and outside drinks are out as well. Age rules are set per show. Age-restricted events need a physical government photo ID at the door, you need a valid one to be served alcohol, and digital copies are refused. Concessions are cashless, while the box office takes cash and cards. Smoking is allowed on the rooftop patio and nowhere inside.

The Fonda has no parking lot of its own. The nearest lot is next door at Hollywood and Gower, entered on Gower, and its price changes from show to show. For the trip home, the Hollywood/Vine stop on the Metro B Line is the closest station, and bus lines 180 and 217 run nearby.
