Out Of The Box LA

The Glass House

Music venue · Pomona

200 W Second St
Pomona, CA 91766

The Glass House sits at Second and Thomas in downtown Pomona, a short walk from the Fox and a block from the train. It's a general admission club, not a theater, so there are no assigned seats to hunt for. You stand, and the closer you want to be, the earlier you show up.

The bookings run heavy on punk, emo and indie rock, and rap and electronic tours have joined them on the calendar. For a lot of LA fans it's the room where a band they love plays one last small show before moving up to the big theaters, which makes it worth the drive out the 10. Most tickets go through DICE. The app unlocks your QR code two hours before the event, and after that you can't transfer it to a friend, so sort out who's going before then.

If a show isn't sold out, the box office sells tickets the night of. It opens an hour before doors, on the east side of the building off Thomas Street, and that's also where will call is. Moderately sized purses are fine and they don't have to be clear, but security searches them, and backpacks aren't allowed in at all. Unlike most rooms this size, the Glass House lets you leave and come back in. Shows go on rain or shine.

The venue is fully wheelchair accessible. Tell security if you need the ADA area, which is first come, first served, with room for one companion.

The site doesn't cover parking, so plan on downtown Pomona's public lots and read the signs before you walk away from the car. Metrolink's Downtown Pomona station on First Street is about a block north, which makes the train an easy option for early shows.
