Kia Forum

The Kia Forum is the round building ringed with tall columns on Manchester Boulevard in Inglewood. It opened in December 1967 for a Kings hockey game, and the Lakers and Kings both played there for decades, which is why plenty of people still just call it the Forum. Aretha Franklin gave the first concert in January 1968. A 2012 renovation rebuilt it for music, with reworked acoustics and a floor that became one of the country's largest general admission sections. It reopened in 2014 with six sold-out Eagles shows.

These days it books arena tours on most of its calendar, plus award shows and combat sports, and electronic headliners show up on it too. The general admission floor is where the energy is, and the bowl wraps tight around it.

Before the music starts, you can hang out on the terrace that circles the building. It opens to anyone with a scanned ticket and sells food and drinks, and it's also where the smoking areas are, since you can't smoke anywhere inside.

Tickets are mobile only, and screenshots or printouts won't scan. Bags must be clear and no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches, though a small clutch or wristlet up to 9 x 6 inches doesn't need to be clear. You can bring one factory sealed water bottle up to 20 oz. The arena is cashless, with kiosks inside that turn cash into a card.

The onsite lots usually open three hours before the event. Prepaid parking through JustPark is the safer bet when SoFi Stadium or Intuit Dome has something the same night, because the whole corner backs up. Lyft is the venue's rideshare partner, and drop-offs are allowed at every entrance.
