The Lexington

The Lexington is a bar at 129 E 3rd Street in downtown Los Angeles. Most of what we list here is one recurring night, Nightshift After Hours, a house and tech house party that starts at 11 PM and runs until 5 AM.

That schedule tells you how to plan. You're not showing up for a quick drink before dinner. Eat first, nap if you can, and expect the room to fill up after midnight. Tickets for these nights have been sold through RA and DICE, and the price shifts by date. On one October night the listing offered free entry with an RSVP before 1 and $23 after that, so a few minutes on the ticket page can save you real money.

The bar's own site is linked above, but the ticket page for the night you want is the surest place to check age limits and entry details, since those change from promoter to promoter. Bring a photo ID either way. The venue hasn't published a capacity, house rules or parking details that we could verify, so treat anything you read elsewhere as unconfirmed until the ticket page says it too.

Since the music runs until dawn, line up your ride home before you go in. Downtown is quiet at 5 AM, and a driver is easier to find if you request one a few minutes before the last set ends.
