Marina Green Park

Park · Long Beach

386 E Shoreline Dr
Long Beach, CA 90802

Marina Green is the flat lawn between Shoreline Drive and the harbor in Long Beach, 9.4 acres with a view across Shoreline Marina toward Alamitos Beach. Linden Avenue cuts it in two, and the halves are not the same size: roughly 3 acres on the beach side, roughly 6 on the Shoreline Village side.

That split is the first thing to know if you are heading to a festival, because the city permits each half separately. The smaller side takes 1,000 to 2,000 people depending on layout, the larger 8,000 to 10,000. Holo Holo Music Festival, a day of reggae and island sound with Steel Pulse and The Green on the bill, used the park in October 2026 and shows how a booking here works: one stage on grass, a fence line, and the harbor instead of a back wall.

There is no venue building in the usual sense. The city lists the amenity as open space, so stages, bars, toilets and gates all arrive with the event and leave with it. Outside a permitted event the park is simply a park, open from 5 AM and closed at 10 PM.

Long Beach does not publish a bag policy or event parking rules for the site, so read the festival page for the day you are going. The park fronts Shoreline Drive, which makes a drop-off simple, and the wind off the water picks up as the sun drops, even in summer.
