The Novo

The Novo is the music room inside L.A. Live, on the Olympic Boulevard side of the complex next to Crypto.com Arena. You go in through the L.A. Live plaza, past the restaurants and the big screens. The venue spreads across three levels and 59,000 square feet, and it holds 2,400 people. Goldenvoice runs the room, so most nights are touring concerts, and the off nights go to award shows, esports events and product launches.

Most nights the floor is general admission with a balcony above it. Some shows sell reserved floor seats by row instead. When the artist wants a pit, entry comes with a wristband handed out first come, first served at the door, and a balcony ticket won't get you downstairs. If you want the rail, show up close to door time or earlier. The box office opens two hours before doors.

There are three full bars, each with an outdoor patio, plus a VIP lounge with private cabanas. Drinks and the lounge are 21 and over, and staff only take a valid government photo ID, so leave the expired license at home. The bars are cashless. Keep your bag under 14 by 14 inches and skip the umbrella, the selfie stick and any camera, since none of them get past security. Re-entry isn't allowed once your ticket scans.

Driving is simple. The garages around L.A. Live hold nearly 4,000 cars, and the West Garage gives you the first half hour free. On arena nights the whole district fills up, so leave early or take the train. Metro's Pico Station is a block away.
