Out Of The Box LA

Origin

Nightclub · Downtown LA

613 Imperial St
Los Angeles, CA 90021

Origin opened October 9, 2026 in the Arts District, and it's the first fixed venue from local promoters Roni Mehrabian and Cyril Bitar, the pair behind SBCLTR and Minimal Effort. The building is the old Lot 613 warehouse at 613 Imperial Street, reworked by designer Marc Dizon (Brooklyn Mirage, Hakkasan) into an indoor-outdoor club that LA Weekly put at roughly 1,000 capacity. Inside there's a main room with a mezzanine and a custom KV2 Audio system; out back a large patio runs its own sound rig for daytime parties.

That dual setup is the whole idea. Fridays are for established and independent electronic acts inside, Saturdays alternate between afternoon open-air parties and late-night house and techno, and the opening run booked MRAK (of Tale Of Us), Liva K, Malive and Kölsch. The venue's own site is still a coming-soon page, so hours, age policy and house rules come from each event listing for now; the opening night ran 10 PM to 3 AM.

The industrial blocks around Imperial and Santa Fe have little in the way of lots, so plan a rideshare or read your event page for parking instructions. It's a short walk from the Metro A Line's Little Tokyo/Arts District station if you're coming from the east.
