The Venice West
Venice, CA 90291
The Venice West opened in 2021 on Lincoln Boulevard, in the old WitZend space, and it runs on the dinner-and-a-show formula: a full kitchen until the headliner goes on, a marble bar, and a proper stage with professional sound and lights in a room that holds roughly 225 people. The name nods to the Beat-era Venice West Cafe, and the owners are the BeachLife Festival founders, so the booking leans jam, reggae, indie, soul and touring singer-songwriters, with comedy and the occasional DJ night mixed in.
Because the room is small, the table setup matters. A show here is either a seated dinner crowd or a cleared floor near the stage, and buying a ticket in advance is worth it since popular nights do sell out. Doors and dinner start at 6 PM most nights, set times shift, and one or two openers usually precede the headliner.
The FAQ asks people to walk, bike or take a rideshare where they can, with weekend valet for a fee, and Lincoln has metered and neighborhood parking if you drive. The venue takes cash and major cards, and unsold tickets go on sale at the door. It doesn't publish a capacity figure or a bag policy, so check your event page for anything specific.
